A Podcast Recommendation

I try to listen to podcasts as much as I can.

I like the variety of conversations and I like the information they provide. Some of my preferred podcasts are simply mindless sports and culture commentary, but sometimes that is what you need when you are driving the 180 empty miles between Montgomery and Mobile (Sorry Greenville, Atmore and that other place who’s name I always forget…but it’s a long road).

All of that is actually an introduction to a podcast I would like to recommend to you. It is the Harvard Business Review’s IdeaCast.

I follow the HBR through my Pulse News app on my iPad, but have just recently spent time with their IdeaCast. The first episode I listened to was #316, What Leaders Can Learn from Jazz, but I also listened to several others and found them helpful and thought provoking.

So, if you are looking for a little something different for your morning exercise or afternoon drive home, check out the HBR IdeaCast and follow the HBR on Pulse or you other preferred news reader. I think you will be more effective leader, pastor, parent or employee for it doing so.
