I am working though my sermon for today and stumbled upon this line and there is something I like about it. Hope it is somehow helpful for you:

Jesus, the grain of the new covenant, will give himself to death in order that fruit, that is the Spirit, will fully enter the scene through the power of the resurrection…

Nothing earth shattering…except that it is pretty much the biggest thing ever.

Maybe it’s a bit modal or heretical, but I better stop. Futher self-exmanination will preclude me from giving this offering out of a self-consciousness feeling of inadequacy. What I wanted to do was offer you something. Thanks for reading.
